history of our achievements
The father's heart project
Video explaining our project

Within the framework of the Light of The World association, we want to develop a structure that can take in the street children of Kinshasa. It is estimated that around 20,000 children aged 0 to 18 live on the streets of Kinshasa, which itself has a population of over 8,000,000.

Confronted with extreme poverty, delinquency, drug problems, prostitution and rape, these children are left to fend for themselves. We want to offer them a framework in which they can be reintegrated into their families (close or extended) or even into foster families in accordance with Congolese legislation. Having tasted freedom, it's important to redefine the rules that will enable them to reintegrate.

With this in mind, an open house would be the ideal place to start this project. It would welcome the children, wash them, clothe them, feed them and communicate the word of God to them. Literacy courses are also envisaged, as well as educational support or vocational training.

This project involves several phases:

1.       Conducting a field survey to identify existing structures and their operating methods.

2.       Find a place where we can welcome the children. Two options are envisaged:

a.       Louer une maison avec une grande cour intérieure.                                                                     b.      Buy a plot of land and build a center to accommodate the children

3.       Meet the children on the streets, preach the gospel to them, take an interest in their lives and stories. Invite them to come to the center, where they can have breakfast and an afternoon meal, and take part in the sports and cultural activities that every child should have

4.       Enable children to return to school or train for a trade.

5.       Organize meetings with the children's families to enable them to return to their homes.

6.       Find host families for children whose families cannot or do not want them to return.

Hello everyone, here's the last of today's marches to distribute clothes to street children in Kinshasa.

Thank you for your donations, your prayers and your support.

May Elohim keep us, and to him be glory!

Marauding

We have just bought the bread, the babouches (flip-flops), the necessary medicines, Eloah is in control of everything, we had a donation of 10 dollars for the descent coming from Benin, may the Lord bless our brothers from Benin and its beautiful nation as well as its authorities. Some of you have promised to send clothes... That's encouraging. The field mission went well, and 5 young people in town want to be baptized.

Yehoshua is strong, don't give up.

We have a powerful Father!

We give you glory Lord, Till now you act and touch in simplicity. Ata Milele Yehshouah ni Buana: For eternity you are Lord!

Hello brothers and sisters,

as announced, we have proceeded with the baptisms, the Lord leading us from beginning to end. Initially there were 4 young people wanting to pass through the waters of baptism, but today the Lord Yehoshua has touched other young people and in total we were able, by the grace of the Lord, to baptize 12 children for the first Block.

After the baptism, the wounds were treated. A beautiful work that encourages and challenges many people in this neighborhood and on this avenue! A sister donated clothes for girls on the spot, which encouraged us a lot. People came out of their houses and were touched, and even participated. Thank you Lord for the simplicity of our hearts and for His guidance! We see that the Lord is at work, there's a lot to do, but we're making progress. Let's be encouraged!
